WHAT IS IMAGE RETOUCHING?

At Lush, editing includes image retouching. I edit all images for exposure and colour balance and to give them my signature style. My general rule is I remove anything on your skin that would be gone in 2 weeks such as blemishes, bruises and scratches. However, I don’t completely edit out anything permanent such as stretch marks, or scars without your explicit request because boudoir sessions are about accepting, loving and celebrating who you are and it can be damaging to edit out parts of yourself. If there are parts of your body that you are learning to love but aren’t thrilled about, that is okay! That’s where my skills in posing and lighting come in to make you look your absolute best!

WHAT IMAGE RETOUCHING IS NOT

Image retouching is NOT a Snapchat or Instagram filter. It does not change how you look, the shape of you, or your features. The images you will receive at your reveal appointment, will be real images of YOU, as you are in real life!
